It really has been eons. I'm still in Toronto in my relatively spacious apartment; my garden is at our family cottage in the Kawarthas and my particular fascination is perennial planting design, inspired by Dutch plantsman, Piet Oudolf. Funny, because once upon a time I worked as a landscaper during my summers away from McGill so it's always been something of a theme. I just read your blog post about redesigning/rethinking the SAP employee publication and found it very interesting, as I was part of a very similar effort at Chevron for one of their employee publications. It's a tough undertaking, but when it works, it can be a really fun and effective source of employee pride and recognition. Anyway, should you ever need a writer for the magazine let me know.
